![]() ![]() She is a bit harder than Irelia (just a little bit), so don't mind it so much. If you want to play Riven, then go ahead and play her, she isn't THAT hard. They are just to make her look harder than she is and scare the people who want to pick her up. To be successful with Riven you DON'T HAVE TO use the auto cancels. Such a skillful champion!(/s)īasically, if someone tells you that Riven is even in top 3 hardest champions in LoL, well, this guy has no idea WTF he is talking about and/or he mains Riven and wants to feel good about himself and not feel bad for abusing this overpowered champion that boosts your winrate more than a paid booster. And even then, she somehow gets such a high winrate while also having insane pick rate. At the same time, Riven is the most played toplaner in the whole game and also she is easily in top 3 most played champions across all elos. And even then his winrate is nowhere close to be even comparable to Riven's. Basically, Riven's skill cap isn't even close to be as high as Azir's.ĭisclaimer: the numbers that i usee are from champion.gg, feel free to go and look for comparison.ĭisclaimer #2: Keep in mind that Azir is not even close to be the most popular champion in the whole game and he is played mostly by people who love the character itself, a.k.a he is played mostly by people who dedicate a lot of their time to master him, because they one-trick him. For comparison, Riven's winrate spikes from 49% to 54% in the first 100 games and the difference between 100 games Riven player and 200 games Riven player is almost half a procent. This proves my theory that he has a high skill cap. Obviously, Azir is harder to pick up.įor around 200 games, Azir's winrate spikes with around 10%. On Riven you need around 60 games to start actively climbing. On Azir you need almost 100 games just to not have negative winrate. ![]() At the same time, in Riven's case, the average platinum player has around 50% winrate. For comparison, after 50 games on Azir on average the average platinum player has around 44% winrate. Even if you start playing her now, in your first 50 games you will most likely have a positive winrate, which proves the fact that she isn't that hard, actually. And even more now, when she is the most broken piece of crap in the whole game with insane pick rate, and even more insane win rate.Ī champion that is hard to pick up and master usually has low winrate when played by someone new on them. BUT, the thing is, she isn't even close to be the hardest champion in the whole game. She is, in fact, above average difficulty and she is, in fact harder to pick up and master than Irelia. Now, i am not saying that Riven is easy or something. ![]() (this is just my opinion) Azir 10/10 difficulty. The thing is, there are actually a few champions harder than Riven. His old Irelia guide got me to D5 a couple seasons ago, its crazy how much he knows about powerspikes and when to trade or go all in. I LOL really hard every time when i see something like "Hurr durr Riven high skill cap, hurr durr Riven hardest champion in the game". ![]()
